INSPIRATION – World’s Oldest Female BodyBuilder Ernestine Shepherd

  I know ladies always worry about looking “bulky” or being muscle bound like She-Hulk (Even though she has a very attractive physique. In my opionion.) but you have to watch this inspiring video of Ernestine Shepherd. She didn’t start her fitness journey until she was 56 years old and now she has been awarded the title of the oldest competing female bodybuilder! This amazing woman is 74 years old is coming in at 130lbs and under 10% body fat. Insane! Ladies you gotta ask yourself some serious questions about what you’re willing to do to get into the best shape of your life. Ernestine proves its never too late to start working out. Even if competitive bodybuilding is not a goal, being healthy and having the body YOU want is all in your hands. You have to want that change, you have to be willing to take those steps to achieve the look and feel that you desire. What to do if you missed a few days of your work out.

I will be restarting Shaun T’s Insanity: The Asylum today with my accountability partner Vanessa or as she would like to be known as “Hardcore” (she’s got the abs for it). We both had a snag 2 weeks in, she hurt her foot and I was out due to some super flu or some sort of crazy biological warfare that kept me from doing anything for the last 2 weeks, enough that my nutrition was even slipping due to not being able to leave the bed. Thankfully I was able to keep up with a routine of Shakeology mixed with Orange juice (and sometimes the p90x recovery drink) to help speed up my recovery. Needless to say my cardio has suffered greatly. Asylum is NOT easy, even when you’re at 100%, this program is tough and you fight physically and mentally to finish each workout. But to keep this quick, as this helps answer a question I get asked quite often by people that have something interrupt their Beachbody workout schedule, for whatever program they’re doing. Shakeology 3 Day Cleanse. What you need, What is it and How you do it.

  First thing you need is Shakeology.  Chocolate or Greenberry, whichever flavor you prefer (I prefer Chocolate myself).   The Shakeology 3-Day Cleanse isn’t one of those piece crap cleansing powder formulas that does absolutely nothing for your body.
