Predator Fitness – Week 1 of Shaun T’s Insanity: The Asylum.

This would make day 5 on The Asylum calendar. A much needed rest day before I get my ass handed to me again by Shaun T. The man clearly intends for you to kill yourself while doing this workout and if you’re not prepared to bring that kind of dedication you may want to look at something easier because this workout is no joke and Shaun T is NOT playing with you. His words.

I am already down 9lbs and about 3-4 inches off my waistline since starting on Saturday, this is with being “decent” with my eating. Something I intend to tighten up within the 2nd week of The Asylum. Its been a tough week, my body is sore from head to toe and the thought of doing absolutely nothing seems like the best idea ever. Sadly for me, this is still week 1, and this program is 30 days of pure hell. On the brightside I have a accountability partner and someone who is going through this at the same time, we’re holding each other up and keeping the other motivated. So I owe a big thanks to my friend Vanessa, although I will admit I do blame her for talking me into this madness but she has my gratitude for getting me to jump into something I was sure I could not do.

Defined arms and abs, muscle is DEFINATELY sexy ladies and Vanessa is proof of that.


I do not recommend Insanity: The Asylum to people just starting out, maybe if you’ve finished a round of p90x and or Insanity or Turbofire but even then this program will crush you, in a good way, and if you’re not prepared to push through some extreme challenges, physically and mentally, you might want to do something else. But this is definately a workout that will bring you some amazing results if you’re honest with your diet and you keep pushing yourself. It has everything I am looking for as a workout of choice at Predator Fitness, functional compound exercises that increase both strength and speed. If you’re like me and you’re a big fan of The Predator and you have a desire to get that perfectly designed primal forged body but want it to be usable, this is a workout you will want I can guarantee that.

I haven’t picked a favorite workout just yet but I think I am leaning towards Speed and Agility or possibly Strength.

Shaun T is ridiculously inspiring throughout the workouts, he’s tough on you but in the way he words it, keeps you from giving up on yourself.
