I can’t (Don’t) want to lose weight because of (insert excuse here)

These are going to sting.. but let’s be honest for a moment. Everyone has said this at some point in their life and others are still living by one of these following excuses; I don’t have the time. You REALLY don’t have the time? You don’t have 5, 10, or 30 minutes each day (or even every other day) that you can put towards exercising or at least educating yourself about nutrition? I don’t care how much walking around a store you did. That is not exercise. Walking to the fridge to grab another beer isn’t exercise either. Excerise in fattening yourself prehaps. GET REAL. Make the time. Make it a priority, if you don’t have time to lose some weight and get healthy, then you’re not only kidding yourself out of a better life and you’re robbing yourself of a long life. Predator Fitness – Week 1 of Shaun T’s Insanity: The Asylum.

This would make day 5 on The Asylum calendar. A much needed rest day before I get my ass handed to me again by Shaun T. The man clearly intends for you to kill yourself while doing this workout and if you’re not prepared to bring that kind of dedication you may want to look at something easier because this workout is no joke and Shaun T is NOT playing with you. His words. I am already down 9lbs and about 3-4 inches off my waistline since starting on Saturday, this is with being “decent” with my eating. Something I intend to tighten up within the 2nd week of The Asylum. Its been a tough week, my body is sore from head to toe and the thought of doing absolutely nothing seems like the best idea ever. Sadly for me, this is still week 1, and this program is 30 days of pure hell. On the brightside I have a accountability partner and someone who is going through this at the same time, we’re holding each other up and keeping the other motivated.
